Today’s result in my 14-day trading blog challenge was honestly disappointing. In the end, I was only able to take one position. That is clearly less than I had planned for this challenge day.
A difficult challenge day
The main reason was not the market itself, but a technical issue with my bot. Because of that, the trades were not executed the way they were supposed to be. That is frustrating, but it is also part of an honest practical test.
The important point: the problem was found and fixed today. From tomorrow on, the execution should run much more smoothly again.
Conclusion for today
Tomorrow I will continue better prepared. Days like this show how important technology, control and clean execution really are in trading.
